Could hardly wait for this book to arrive. It made me laugh, made me have a big cry, I am in awe of Kathleen O'er who would have known when we were all rushing for the ruck shop. Most of all I found it hauntingly sad in places where I had to put it down and come back a few days later. Very poignant reminder of where we have come from. What a great book!..love the way Kath kept coming back to protest despite the wilful blindness of those in power.. The facts in the book are uncomfortable butyou find yourself laughing along with Kaths humour too!

Absolutley a must read. Brilliant. If you only read one book this year, this should be it.
What a story Kathleen has to tell. Her amazing journey had me laughing, crying and terrified. I couldn't stop reading.
I have not yet finished reading, however love this book and the courageous manner in which Kathleen has approached life. I also have the pleasure of working with Kathleen currently, absolutely delighted she signed my book!!
This book provides good insight into the life of a wandering Zimbabwean (a kind-hearted, humorous one, in this case).
Hopefully the author, Kathleen, will achieve her goal of enlightening the world about the plight of ordinary Zimbabweans.
